The Marketing Committee is responsible for developing and posting content for all of the NWCT social media sites, writing copy for email blasts, designing graphics and info-graphics, assisting the Technology Committee with creating website content and other general communication duties.


Serve and work in partnership with Program Chair and other NWCT Board Members to plan and organize programs including soliciting topics, engaging speakers, and coordination with the Arrangements Director. These programs are a major attraction and include many different presentations and panels as well as book signings, wine tastings, and debate.


Event Planning: Responsible for selecting competitively priced event locations in both Center City and Suburban locations. Event locations include hotels with banquet halls, shared workspaces, sponsors’ office buildings and restaurant/bars. Meticulously read through event contracts and relay information to President and Treasurer.  Assist with creating pricing for the event based on headcount and per plate pricing.

Day of event: Create name tags for each attendee and set up the registration table. Greet each attendee, check them in, and provide instructions for the event. Stay at the table until most of the attendees are present, and act as point of contact for the hotel staff while onsite. Make an announcement about everyone returning their name tags. Ensure the bill is paid by the treasurer at the end of the event

Manages the corporate sponsorship program. E) Acts as a liaison between the Board and NWCT members to ensure that all events and experiences are both meaningful and memorable. ...improve future events to encourage future member engagement and participation.


A. Present current technologies to membership with the intent of bridging the gap between members and technology. B. Support the organization in new technology endeavors which enable the organization to expand its capabilities, programs and services, and operate more efficiently and effectively. C. Manage and assist with technology access and functionality for applications, including but not limited to the organization website, that the board uses in support of the organization.


Exercise leadership and management of the special projects as assigned and approved by the board, and support other board members and committees as needed.
